Update
on KSR
On November 28, 2006, the Supreme Court heard arguments in the KSR obviousness
case which has received widespread attention in the media. Hal Wegner
provides his analysis of possible outcomes for the case in his recently
revised Top Ten Cases list. KSR is considered at pp. 2-7 of the most recent
"Revised
Top 10 Cases" document.

TACPI thanks everyone for their contributions
to TACPI Tokyo 2006 that made this comparative patent law seminar so very
successful! We appreciate the cooperation of Academy Hills for the use
of their spectacular venue with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji each morning.
The reception at the Roppingi Hills Club was enjoyed by everyone, particularly
our overseas participants.
Because of space limitations, we apologize for not being able to accommodate
prospective registrants on the waiting list. We sincerely regret that
we were limited by the capacity restrictions of the Academy Hills venue.
Thank you for your understanding.
Access to TACPI Tokyo 2006 documentation:
TACPI Tokyo 2006 participants will be able to access all of the documents
from the conference in electronic form. As noted at TACPI Tokyo 2006,
each participant will be given instructions via e-mail for gaining access
to these materials.
Members of the public wishing electronic copies of TACPI Tokyo 2006 conference
materials will be able to have access after November 28, 2006 at this
Web site.
Thank you!
