On November 28, 2006, the Supreme Court heard arguments in the KSR obviousness case which has received widespread attention in the media. Hal Wegner provides his analysis of possible outcomes for the case in his recently revised Top Ten Cases list. KSR is considered at pp. 2-7 of the most recent "Revised Top 10 Cases" document.

TACPI thanks everyone for their contributions to TACPI Tokyo 2006 that made this comparative patent law seminar so very successful! We appreciate the cooperation of Academy Hills for the use of their spectacular venue with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji each morning. The reception at the Roppingi Hills Club was enjoyed by everyone, particularly our overseas participants.

Because of space limitations, we apologize for not being able to accommodate prospective registrants on the waiting list. We sincerely regret that we were limited by the capacity restrictions of the Academy Hills venue. Thank you for your understanding.
